Fantastic anniversary break
We were worried having read other reviews about the hotel being tired. However it must have been refurbished during lockdown. The setting is lovely, three hotels situated around the thermal pool/jacuzzi/plunge pool. Both cafe’s serve excellent food and good prices too. Breakfast in the hotel was normal continental, bread, cheese, ham, fruit, orange juice & tea/coffee, all really fresh. Beds are sooo comfy, memory foam mattress and pillows.The underground spa/thermal experiences is lovely but, to be honest as you get the outside thermal pool in with the hotel, it’s not worth paying for, just my opinion. I have more pics of the inside but unable to upload as none are of bathroom or bedroom. Uploads are a little limited
We had a room on the ground floor, very last bedroom, we could hear the toilets being flushed on the second floor. When booking ask for second floor room at the front of the hotel. That way you get a balcony too

Poor
The hotel was very old and the location was stunning as were the thermal baths . There were even wheelchairs available for those, like me, who needed one to enter the water
I had notified the property that I was a wheelchair user and on arrival we were allocated an “accessible” room however it was not possible for me to get into the bathroom. We went back to reception and they agreed to move around the furniture. They removed an extra bed from the room and move some other things around and I was able to access the bathroom. The decor was poor the wallpaper peeling off the walls. In the morning there was no hot water and when I decided I would have a lukewarm shower the shower stool attached to the wall broke due to rust as soon as I put some weight on it. Not our expectations of a 3star hotel
